So, I'm a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series. I've been playing them since Morrowind, and I honestly enjoyed Skyrim. However, I don't think I'm that much of a fan of Skyrim Special Edition.
I could go on and on about the game itself, buts for all intents its Skyrim all over again with nothing different. You can find my review for it over here.
I got the game for free from Bethesda since I already owned the original Skyrim. However, the game is currently selling for full price and to me it mostly seems like a waste of your own money if you actually go out and buy this game now, especially if you own and play Skyrim already. I understand that this is a bit of a transition for the developer and it allows them to test their engine as they move towards the next game in the series, but I can't honestly recommend that you as a gamer go and buy this game. Its over five years old right now and there are a substantial amount of games out right now that are superior in terms of their game play and story. Hell, to some extent the game isn't even that much of an upgrade due to the fact that mods are still being working into the special edition meaning that right now the older version of the game is actually the more superior version of it.
