No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky says a lot about the state of the videogame industry these days; overhype, overpromise, overprice and out right bald-face-lying.

The saddest part of NMS is how much potential it actually has. From the moment you start till at least an hour or two in, it will seem like the game it was promised to would be; a gigantic endless universe to explore, filled with different planets, spices and secrets to uncover. And the fact that it's all being "procedurally generated"- a term that use to grab my interest - would make you think that it would be truly endless and unlike any other player's experience. But unfortunately all of that promise falls face first in a puddle of mud while shitting itself right in front of its crush.

It didn't take long for me to feel how repetitive the game is; in no time I found myself collecting all sort of crap till my inventory is full, which will happen way, way too often. They say average human farts 14 times a day, which would be around a fart every half an hour, and that is still way less then how many times you will see your goddamn inventory getting filled, and of course not as enjoyable.

All in all there isn't much enjoyable in the game that could hold solid interest, the mechanics and gameplay are not sound nor developed enough to hold much interest, you keep on playing to discover new stuff; travel from planet to planet, galaxy to another, and yes every planet looks different but all planets are like meeting different people but without much of a character; they look different that dude is Chinese this girl is black...but in the end they're just a shell of a human.

Yet as I have mentioned, there is a great potential in the game, if they delayed the game a year, at least, it may have held some of the promise they made, but at its current state it should be an early access 15$ game instead of a triple A price with a triple A promise.

In the end I have one thing I want to say to my friends +Ahmed Jadaa +Tiger Holmes : Told you so
