The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is one of the best games I have played in my entire life. You must've heard this line countless of times right about now, although it might not be as extreme as mine. I'll gladly give my explanation in excruciating details. If a game takes us at least a hundred hours to beat, I'm sure it's the least one can do to review the end of Geralt of Rivia's journey.
Not sure where to start, but this game marks the third and the last journey in Geralt of Rivia's "The Witcher" series. Or Geralt the exterminator. Geralt the shephard. Geralt The Slayer. Geralt The Hide and Seek player. As a player of the whole series, I can safely say we have seen a transformation of the character as well as the environment throughout the course of the three games. The previous games had their flaws, and though these flaws are not disengaging to the point where I'd be completely disinterested, they still were quite bothersome. However, I can easily and safely say The Witcher 3: The Wild hunt is flawless in every shape and form.
Recently, I've taken up an efficient way of beating games in my personal opinion where I dont have to force myself to spend more time than I have to depending on my curiosity. The reason being, if I force myself to be a completionist with a game, especially if it is a Role-Playing Game, I'd be disengaged from the world itself and might not even feel involved anymore in the world the characters live in. Luckily the opposite had occurred with The Witcher 3 and I initially went with the flow. However, I saw myself veering off to exploring and asking NPCs about monsters' whereabouts and helping out those in need besides the main plot. It didn't feel superficial nor disengaging from the rest of the game. In fact, every quest felt like it mattered in comparison to the overall world.

One of the main reasons I was attached to this game is the storytelling and the pacing of the plot. You literally live in the character's mindset and the narrative from the first ten minutes of the game to the last, although sometimes takes place from different perspective, still takes you through geralt's mind. The animation and the graphics as well as the soundtrack and the great performance intertwines with the narrative in a beautiful fashion. At first, I felt overwhelmed, but as I delved deeper into the world of The Witcher, I didn't want to get out of it. Sure enough, 150 hours later, I'd look for more sidequests before finishing the story.
Choices in the game are not all about Right and Wrong, it's a little more than that and to be honest it is hard for me to explain since there was a consequence for each action I've taken. I did not regret a single choice I have picked however bad the consequence seemed.
Combat is actually great as opposed to the previous games. The series' weak point in my opinion was always in the combat and thankfully, this game saved it with its variety between signs and combat. There are so many combinations one can come up with and so many different play styles are present as opposed to the clicking of the mouse in Witcher 1 or the button mashing in Witcher 2 without the emphasis or need on Signs as much as here. The available quest types for Geralt include the main quests as well as secondary quests where in my opinion they compliment each other and are essential to the huge decisions in the plot. Then comes the optional quest types such as witcher contracts which are as engaging as the main plot and take you through the mind and the gritty life of a Witcher. Then last but certainly not the least are Treasure hunts that lead you right to the Witcher Gear Sets. Each set has its own unique skills and play style depending on the player's preference.

| I went with the Griffin set despite me using signs most of the time. |
Don't get me started on the aesthetics of Witcher 3. The music is beautiful and really takes you to a different world. I am sure I would type more but I am out of words right now and I can only say I feel quite empty after finishing this wonderful project by CD Projekt. There are no other developers I would entrust an RPG experience than CD PRojekt. Keep it up guys and I'm looking forward to their future games and expansions.
10/10 would name my pet after Princess.
Here sheepy sheep sheep xD
